Default Mini Pinwheels

After some health issues, I have decided I need to get busy and finish some projects that have been laying around my home of several years. This top was started in 2007 if I remember correctly. It was a project I worked on at a quilt retreat, didn't get very far on it at that time (too much fun visiting and eating at the retreat), but I have been working on it off and on for the last couple of years. A couple of months ago I got it quilted. I am trying something a little different as I wanted to quilt it then add the applique because I wanted the crosshatching to go behind the applique. As you can see the applique is not on it yet, and it is not bound. But the label is made and sometime this winter I think I will have time to sit down and attach the yoyo flowers, stems and label. Again I used Hobbs 80/20 batting, white thread and a muslin backing.

Love the quilt. Just finished a top with the same pattern, but didn't have the neutral separating the colors. Like yours better!
