Default Minky Fabric with Flannel and Fleece

I made my first baby quilt with minky and flannel yesterday. Well I made it last weekened - then took it all apart when the bottom was no where near right! After learning to pin, pin, and pin again it went together great! I am hooked. I love the fabric.

Today I went to Joannes to get more. This time for my mom and I am going to make it a little bigger. But I really liked the fleece so I thought I would give it a try.

Any suggestions for this combo?

Love this blanket!!! I have that same flannel print I have just been nervous about the lines on the fabric being straight on my finished project. but look at yours straight as can be!! Great job!!!

it looks great!!! As long as you take your time and use lots of pins...minkee isn't so bad to use.
