I finally figured out how to get a new picture in my Avatar. This is from April - and my hair has grown another inch at least, so I still want DH to take a new picture. This one's bad quality is because a friend Emailed it to me. I look a little like a grinning skull, but it looks more like me than the old Avatar did
Quiltylisa - I'm glad you're gonna try out my 'pattern'- making idea
Thank you all for your kind comments - KO24, Sulabug, Terri, Quilter1962, Ninnie, Sewjoyce, nana2, Bevanger, amma, littlehud :-)
Darlene - if I were to do a tutorial, I would have to go back 18 years and start over! But thanks for the flattering suggestion :D
Loretta - thanks for suggesting that I could sell this as a pattern - I wonder how many people would be abot to see the pattern through the newspaper print?

She looks great on the counter. You could use scraps from old clothes to personalize the cozy. How about one for each appliance dressed as each family member?
My counter is way to cluttered with the "extra" gadgets we use. It would be interesting to walk in the kitchen and see the family waiting.
