Default Modern Christmas D9P Quilt

Here's the third and last (for right now!) donation quilt I am posting. My quilting group normally makes quilts for transplant and chemo patients... people who will be hospitalized for longer periods of time. We decided on a 'side project' of some Christmas quilts to give to those who will be in the hospitals over next Christmas holiday. We all have stashes of Christmas fabrics to use and what better way? So here's my very simple idea: I took 5" squares of my more modern Christmas prints and made a random D9P lap quilt. The only 'constant' was the center square in each 9 patch, all the same. So all the small squares are of the same spotty fabric. The rest were pretty random. Hope it brings some Christmas fun and a surprise to someone in the hospital this Christmas.

Having spent a Christmas season in the hospital, I know how lonely it feels. Your quilt will help.

It is so nice of you to think of others that might be having a difficult time during Christmas. Making charity quilts is such a rewarding feeling.
