I was asked to make a quilt for a 4 year old that recently lost her mother. Since the clothing was so varied in type and weight, I decided to make two quilts. One for the little girl to just cuddle up in and one for her bed. I used the mom's pj's to make the Mommy Hug Quilt ( that's what I call it ). When the 4 year old received it today she immediately said "those are mommy's pajamas" I am told. I will start on the bed quilt now, but thought I'd share this little quilt with you.

So sad to lose a mom so young. Nice quilt to comfort her and make her feel like part of mommy is right there.

What a wonderful thing you did. My heart is still fluttering from your kindness. What a great momentum. I can just feel that moms arms around her daughter. Imagine what that 4 year old feels? God Bless You
