Default To border or not to border?

Hi everyone merry Christmas , I am making this baby quilt, it is a raggy quilt these are images of the back, I have made a few of these lately some with a boarder, one I did a binding ( I am using these to practice ). So my question would it look better with or with out a boarder? I have 2 pictures one with out and the other I lauded a strip of the fabric to test?

I don't think it needs it to look nice.

No to border. The lovely lavender looking color is framing it already. That is UNLESS you put an equally wide border of the print. The fabric as it is showing is too small, out of proportion. Yah, I was a lot of help with my no, but maybe. So I guess the guestion is do you want it larger. With an equally wide border, got for it.

I would just bind it with the dark red check.
