Tossed out all of the rules and went free style. What a nightmare. By the time I got to the quilting part of it the entire thing went to hell and I ended up having to cut off about 7.5 inches around the perimeter. My double twin quilt became a couch throw. After all was said and done, it came out wonky and horribly flawed. Good thing none of that matters when you are trying to stay warm.

I think it looks great..kind of wild, but the border around the outside tames it down. Well done :)

Looks good to me. Who cares if it has flaws - you saw it through to the end - anybody that doesn't like it can sit on the other side of the room and be cold. :)

I really like it...a lot....I would like to do a random, throw out the rules quilt. I have a picture of one of the Tutwiler quilts and it is really wonky and random, but has a really good look about it. Well done for stepping out and having fun.
