Well! A Tute? I don't know about that, but you can watch the MSQC youtube tute on self binding receiving blankets. That's where I started. For the napkins, I removed the selvages and halved the fabric, about 21 inches each and then squared it. The smaller piece is 14 inches, giving me 3 per WOF. This gave me 17 inch napkins. I think you could go 10 or 12 inches on the smaller piece and still have decent sized napkins. Holiday fabrics make up great for these. I love to take them for a hostess gift, and I have some Halloween fabric set aside to be ready for the season. I'd love to see yours!

I've made blankets and napkins with the Missouri Star video pattern, then came across this one. It is so much faster and easier. No cutting angles. No turning. Have made tons since. It's my go to pattern now, even for the baby blankets . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGESFvTYm6g.

(I'm thinking this isn't turning into a link, but it works typing or copying & pasting it into the address bar. Sorry.)
