Looks like there will be more Maxine fabrics besides the ones I posted in this thread:

They're due out in May.

Two more designs: "comic bubbles (sayings)" and "comic circles" (with Maxine in them).

Which colors do you like best?

The light blue just don't seem like Maxine!!
She is BOLD & IN YOUR FACE!
She is Not soft and demure like soft blue!!
I think that tells which I like the best!!

Personally, I don't like any fabric with writing in quilts. Craft projects etc. fine, but I think it's distracting for quilting.

She was the first one to tell me about Maxine and I have giggled more than once in the card store reading the Maxine cards. I think it will make her smile.

Candace, I haven't actually made anything with fabric with words yet, but I have been collecting the fabric when I find it. The fabric really appeals to me, but maybe I need to know more before I try using it in a quilt, especially since I'm not terribly experienced. I thought it would be especially good for children, as they learn to read. I would love to hear more. :-)
