The eyes were not bad at all to be honest with you. I did those pieces first since the rest went super quick
I used an add an eighth ruler around the small eye pieces which helps to not have that added bulk of using the add a quarter ruler in tight spots. I don't mind the little pieces at all - but I would not do an entire quilt with just tiny pieces that's for sure! I find them to be no different than the larger pieces to be honest with you. Line it up, sew, trim, fold and wooden iron it down then move on to the next piece. I know. I just made that sound super simple lol. I have become really good friends with paper piecing. I have been enjoying it so much. I just love the pictures and designs you can achieve with very little stress.
