Default More prayer quilts for the church

I make prayer quilts for our local church. Their approx. size is 40" wide x 60" long. I machine quilt all of my quilts but the prayer ties still have to go into them. A prayer quilt is for someone in need of comfort either from illness or death or whatever the concern. The people from the church say a prayer for the person receiving the quilt and tie the prayer tie, thus keeping the prayers in the quilt.

The first quilt is called Rain Days. I quilted the sashing using the pebble stitching. The second picture is the back of the quilt. The next is called Trip Around the World and the last two are called Plaid on Plaid, one with blue centers in the blocks and the other with red centers. Thank you for viewing.

Your quilts are beautiful. I think they would bring a lot of comfort to the receivers. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by prayer ties though unless you mean they also tie the quilt in addition to your quilting while they are saying the prayers?
It sounds like a wonderful ministry.

Your quilts are lovely. For those who are not familiar with the concept of prayer quilts, you may check out this website: http://www.prayerquilt.org/

They are beautiful. I don't understand the prayer ties, either. I will look up the site. Thank you for displaying them.

Wonderful quilts. Especially the plaid 9-patch ones.
