Riley, that is beautiful. I have never seen anything like it. Is it paper pieces? Thanks for sharing. Quilter 1234

GOOD Morning Everyone!
Fast pass by---V/C to run ,furniture to wax & all that icky stuff to do but I would rather be quilting!

Quilter1234, my Jane Stickle quilt is handpieced. The CD that contains the pattern (the books also contains the patterns) has the options of PP, templates or rotary cutting.
I am primarily a hand piecer. I do very few things on t emachine, though I can piece on the machine.
I only hand quilt with no machine quilting.

Many thanks for your kind comments!!!

Riley

hello Riley, I don't think that I have seen anything quite so amazing. Each time I look at it I find something else to catch the eye. Well done.

I sure have not done anything like you all have. Riley, yours takes the Blue Ribbon! I can't believe you handpieced it!

I've done the Dear Jane, and find that Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilts generally have 4-5000+ pieces in them. I love the three I've completed even though we don't have a clue how they will look as we go along.

I did a King Size exploding star for my daughter that has over 2ooo pieces and each has to turn exactly the right direction or the pattern goes whacky. Real pain, but worth it in the end
