It's so upsetting and a shame that these quilts weren't cherished for the works of art that they are. It is humbling to see the love and effort that were put into these quilts. Thank you for rescuing them.

The stars are magnificent. It's hard to think that no one loved it and the others for their beauty and labor, nor for a memory of a mother or grandmother. And whoever put them out for $20 apiece failed to see the monetary value. It leaves one shaking her head.

Great find. We have been trying to figure out the hexagon star quilt. Is it pieces or appliqued
star? Trying to find the name.Thanks any help.
