Default Moving Sale Specials

Weather is finally cooperating for yard sales & here's what I found. Major downsizing & quilts were for sale. Hand pieced, hand quilted & I paid $20.00 each. The R,W & B I took to the woman in charge of
Blue/Gold Star Mothers. I think the last quilt is 1 of 2 old quilts that I now have but How old do you think this is? Thanks for looking!

aging a quilt usually involves identifying the age of the newest piece of fabric. And you have to look and identify all of them....Its hard to see in the pics. But looks like you got some treasures.

Great quilts and a real bargain for you! Makes me sad that no one valued their family heirlooms.

Your quilt finds are awesome! I'm always happy to know when unwanted quilts are bought by a quilter recognizing the value of the work that goes into them.

What a fantastic find. What a great idea to donate the patriotic quilt. We should always honor our vets and their families.
