Thank you to each one of you. You are so kind. DH is making wooden bandboxes for them to sell also. We consider it a privilege to be able to contribute. The couple we donated to just sold their home and moved in an RV so they could spend more time giving to others. They are so delighted with what we have given them so far.

Check Pinterest for Ideas for Mug Rugs... I am getting ready to make one in a Leaf Shape for my partner in Swap-bot. Most Rug Mugs are at least 5 " x 7" or larger depending on the Size of the Cookie or Muffin or Donuts + Room for Large Mug of Hot Chocolate or Coffee or Tea or Cider ... ! ! !

I just love 'em. Sigh. Another cool thing to add to my 'gotta do' list.

I love them. Great idea to make them patriotic. Hope they get their money for them.

I make my mug rugs by cutting the fabric 7 by 11 and have a large enough rug for a snack to fit on it. I use craft batting, which is a little tighter than other batting, and they wash great!
