I made this lap quilt for a friend's husband who plays multiple instruments. The pattern is Cheaper by the Dozen, which is so easy. Since it was for a guy, I kept the quilting simple...just SID and a few more straight lines. First time I've used Hobbs Polydown batting and boy did it sew nicely!!

Beautiful! I like the piano key fabric running across the back of the quilt. :-D :thumbup:

Interesting and great quilt. The backing is just as nice as the front. Hope he enjoys it.

It's so cool! It would be a great graduation quilt for a grandson who graduates next year and loves guitars. Thanks for the inspiration!
