    Lovely quilt....My Nan used to like to "paint" on fabric around that time...think it was called "Hobbytex", they used to have parties, bit like Tupperware.

    How beautiful! I looked at the pictures before I read the post and I though "Oh, I've GOT to have some of that fabric." Then I read the post... Anyway it's gorgeous! You should be very, very proud.

    I quilts with stories behind them and yours is wonderful. Congrats on the blue ribbon! Sometimes we need alittle nagging, so thank your friend for that extra push and I do remember the Tri chem paints, is that the company you work with?
