Started out wanting to try English Paper Piecing since I could do it on the plane when I viisted my sister. They are the flowers from 30's prints. Then what to do with them? Thus the squares. Wanted a crisp white border, but then wide white borders seemed too plain! So I added the applique. Kind of a hodge podge but it turned out OK for the guest room

Thanks a lot! . I put buttons in the center of each flower. Then I have to keep the door closed to the bedroom because my dachshund puppy with chew the buttons off!
