Default summer porch or stained glass II. Need help on the fall.

Here is the top with its sashes put on, but now it is not quite big enough for it to fall on a queen bed. I can either take off the skinny side row and do another row on the side or I have some medium brown to make a 10 inch fall off of what you see here. So should I do another row down the length of the side or just add a boarder on to it?

it looks great so far. my thought is to put a border of the triangular pattern. you could do it on 3 sides and the extra length will let it lay nicely over pillows

I was going to suggest the same thing as Quiltin Nan. This is a beautiful quilt.

I would go with a border using two or three different shades of fabric which will make the windows stand out.

I would add the darker border. It would frame the quilt.

It's a very nice top. It depends on how much work you want to do. The part you have done now covers the top (visable) part of the bed. I think a large brown border for the fall would look fine. It will frame the top nicely and because it's in the shadow (sides) it won't be that visable anyway. The big brown sashing would look awesome quilted in a big feather swag pattern if you're up for that?

I would just add a border. It's pretty.
