Thanks everyone for being so kind in your comments. I'm so happy right now that someone like it.

The quilt pattern is called Amazing. In answer to the long-arm question, I did it on a mid-arm machine (Bailey) at a sit-down table that came with it. It has a 15-inch throat. This machine could go on a frame, but I don't have room for a frame at the moment. So sit-down it is. Not sad about it though, because I had such fun.

And, yes, it is wonderful to learn something new.

Like that you made matching pillow slips for the quilt. Makes it look very together. I have been looking for a pattern that does not make my king sized bed look like such a behemoth. This one looks pretty good. The work is just "amazing." Love it!

I love the texture. Makes me want to just sit and rub my hands over it.

Hi Dray,
I love this quilt, and your work completing it. I would like to find out more about the pattern - can you please let me know a little more detail, like designer or publisher/distributor? I am having trouble finding it on line with only the title!
Thanks,
GEMRM

Nice; what a good idea to make matching pillowcases instead of shams.

Love this quilt. The pattern is one of my favs'. The border is awesome and the simple quilting is very contemporary.
