    Thank you for all the nice comments. Klue I used a pantograph. I haven't tried free hand yet.

    pantos are great.

    the quilters rule site has some great templates to make feathers, scrolls, etc.

    i'm big on not reinventing the wheel when there's a handy dandy tool on the market to meet your need. this leaves you time to do more designing :D
