Im so excited! I'm making my 1st scrappy quilt ever so I can learn FMQ. I wanted to make a quick quilt to practice on so I grabbed my stash fabric (plus if I bought fabric DH would disown me) LOL and this is what came about. I havent attached it yet and didn't do borders yet but so far it's been alot of fun. Hopefully people won't think the colors clash too bad LOL. I tried to match them up as best I could like a layer cake or charm pack.

All this fabric was gifted to me so I really wanted to use most of the prints to make something special just for me that I would always remember how nice and generous this gift was to me :) So it started that I was doing it to learn on but now I'm afraid to quilt it LOL

I am liking it so far. Can't wait to see what you add for the borders.

That's going to be great....the same repeat of colors in the center keep it sane, as well as similarities of colors of the others. Good job!

Wow, gifted fabric and you get to keep it when completed! I'm excited for you, just have fun with it and you will love it when it's finished.

It's charming, you're doing a wonderful job on your first scrap quilt. They're my favorites, the more fabrics, the better!!
