I've not heard of prayer quilts. Are they given to a certain organization or to people in need of help of some kind? Yours are very nice.

There is a national organization called Prayers and Squares. After we make these quilts, we put thread through ready to be tied into knots. When someone in our church requests a prayer quilt for someone who is ill or has any need, we put the quilt out on the patio on Sunday and people go by, say a prayer as they tie the knot. When the recipient gets the quilt, s/he knows that dozens of people have prayed for him.

Pretty quilts and a blessing to those that receive them.

Should be very proud of those. I love the writing on the borders!

We don't quilt ours - just the ties hold them together. I like the quilting added.

I just want to say that your quilts are beautiful and that is my favorite scripture that I always cling to.
