I finsihed the quilt I made from a patchwork magazine ( I did make it smaller). Now I am ready to have it quilted? Up to this point all I have done is free motion meandering and loopies. I am ready to branch out...what suggestions do you have for quilting this? So I do SID to keep the lines, use forms to break up lines, or what?

you're way ahead of me. i've made over 300 quilts, all quilted by hand, just did two onthe machine quilting, but straight stitches in the ditch, i can't do loops or any of that fancy stuff. your quilt is so pretty.

Beautiful quilt, love the colors in it. I would say to do what you feel comfortable with doing. If you are ready to branch out, go for it. I'm certain whatever method you choose, the quilt will turn out beautifully.

What a cool quilt. It would look really cool with cross hatching in the sashing and maybe some kind of feathered wreath or giant flower type design in the blocks.

I can see SID to create the grid pattern on the sashing. Then you have tons of otions for circular patterns in each square. You can do wreaths, feathering, flowers, the world is your oyster. I would use a large design to fit the square.

P.S. I only answered because I was an Oh nosey one - not necessarily a wise one. lol
