I was asked to post a larger picture of my current avatar, so here it is.
This is a fat quarter lap quilt that uses 9 fat quarters, plus a background and solid for leading. It is stipple quilted with stars intermixed from the back of the quilt. I used a variegated thread in the needle and a invisible in the bobbin with Dream Poly batt. Fun to quilt something upside down, but do take lots of care when layering
I designed the pattern a few years back when I was in my jewel tone phase.

WOW - Spectacular! But, it doesn't even look real - thanks for the close-up picture!

Wow, that is beautiful. It really looks like a stained glass window. What beautiful colors. Great job and thanks for sharing.

    I love it!

Were the stars appliqued on, and then the leading added?

Why did you quilt it from the back?

There in no applique just piecing.

It was quilted from the back, since I find it difficult to stipple with invisible thread. I did try a few different colors or thread, but I didn't like the black fabric to get interrupted.

Listed pattern for sale in classified if you are interested.
