Default Lori's Fall Floral Bouquet......quilted by Charisma

Lori sent this quilt for LAQ. Lori and I have worked together several times..but she actually sent this to my boys for all over stipple. I couldn't let them. I know it seems weird stealing work from your kids right? It's just that this quilt has so much piecing and work I couldn't let her do it.
{now I need to find another job for my kids..lol}
SO I offered a middle of the road compromise...all over design in the center with custom borders.

Leaves and vines were the theme...framed in with a feather.
Beautiful!

Oh ......how I love the quilting you do on my quilt tops!! It is one of the best gifts I can give myself .. sending my tops to you for quilting. You see more potential than I ever could. Thank-you for your inspiration and abilites you bring to every quilt. I can't wait to see/feel this when it gets back to me. I don't think you have any idea of how I just love to feel the texture of your quilting. I know it sounds strange...seeing it never enough ... I have to touch the stitches and every time I do I say the same thing .. WOW!

Stunning quilt - wonderful colors and, as always, gorgeous quilting. Thank you for sharing.

You are right, Lori's quilt was so full of detail that it would have been a sin to merely stipple it. I love your compromise on design in the body and on the borders.

ove your choice, Charisma. What's fascinating is that it still gives the "feeling" of all over stipple, but more broadly spaced, and of course, remaining in the theme of leaves. Love it.
