I found some fabrigami - or whatever those folded blocks are called - in my closet. Took a class YEARS ago and decided I didn't like the style after all. Now I am in a "finish something" mode and decided to turn them into a wall hanging. The wide rosy border gave me a chance to try some decorative stitches with my new machine.

It's going to work with me because our walls are blue and the hanging cabinet doors are maroon. It will look nice on my wall.

Very pretty, and doesn't it feel good to get one finished and out of the WIP bin? Thanks for sharing it.

Nice hanging. Are they folded like the folded star ornaments? Pretty way to use them.

I don't know. It started out as a 8" square and ended up inside a 4 1/4" block after much folding, pressing, pinning....cursing.....lol

Thanks for the nice comments and thanks for not pointing out how wavy my lines are on the border. I am forcing myself to be OK with them.

I've never seen this tecnhique. I think it's pretty. I really like those fancy stitches. Thanks for sharing.
