I was inspired and motivated to create a barn quilt this summer when our local county fair advertised they were having an exhibit featuring barn quilts. I love to do fun projects like this around our place. But I did not want to put up a newly painted project on an old barn badly in need of a new paint job! So I told my DH that I was going to paint the barn this summer! With his help, (he doesn't like to paint, so he provided me the loaders and hoisted me up to the high points). I finished everything but the white trim on the garage door. That will soon come, but I was just too excited to get my barn quilt up! I will get it finished soon. (Oh yea, I have two more sides of the barn that still need paint. Anyone want to lend a hand?) :D
