This is the quilt I made in my first class. I was so slow that the class ended before the quilt was finished. We only got up to the borders. I just don't like the colors.

I got the idea from the following post than just built on it.

I think it's really pretty and what a great quilt for your first one! The colours are Christmassy - maybe try putting it out as something to snuggle under on the couch in December. I bet you would get lots of compliments.

You did a nice job on your quilt. I have to admit I rarely like a quilt when I am finished with it. I just get sick of looking at it and wonder how I could pick something so ugly in the first place. Then it gets put away, and the next time I look at it, I see it with fresh eyes. Your "fresh eyes" are going to like this quilt.
