    My first quilt (made about 8 years ago). I made two of these. The second one was one I gave to my sister. That one is my "miracle quilt". Her house was taken with Katrina. Nothing remained of her house. As they were walking around their now empty lot, she saw a piece of fabric wrapped around a trunk of a tree. It was my bonnet girl quilt... covered in mud but not a tear in it. It now resides on the bed in her guest room of her new house. Living proof that a sister's love can't be destroyed.
