Default For my brother...choo-choo..... by DeeBooper

I made this for my brother who loves trains. He has a collection that goes back to before he was born. He also sets up modules that he has constructed of many different train layouts. He loves to travel to different places with them and he has won numerous first place awards and has been featured in magazines. Three weeks ago he had a carotid and a triple bypass done (63yo). Never was sick a day of his life except diabetes. He is doing well for only 3 weeks but can't wait til he gets 100%. He is always freezing so I used 2 battings...80/20 and poly. I think that should keep him warm enough. (Nancy, if you happen to see this, don't tell him..it's a surprise). Tomorrow I will get the binding made and put it on. I'm going to give it to him on Thanksgiving Day. I bought the panels in Lancaster, Pa a couple years ago and this was the only layout I could figure out so I went with it. I just did a quick meander on my longarm for the quilting. Have to have a picture of my model on every quilt...Ginger. She actually gets mad if I make her get off my quilts!

I love it and I'll bet your brother will too. Nice layout for those panels. I see it already has the seal of approval from your quilt inspector.

Your quilt looks great and I like the way you laid out the blocks.
