I cover composition books with quilted covers. I have three of my own, one with my calendar and lists of groceries and things to do, another for quilting, and another for computer information like my passwords.

I have given so many as gifts. They are wonderful gifts. I can use a favorite color and there are so many fabrics with so many subjects of interest to my friends and family.

Why BUB. A friend after receiving hers, made some and gave them to her friends. One friend refers to it as her BUB, back up brain. I thought that was a perfect description of how I use mine.

They are gorgeous when left laying around. They are a great place to practice FMQ.

Yes there is already a tutorial set up. I got smart and did it first. Have fun, make many. These are my original instructions. The idea-people have been covering books forever and this is the way I do it.

Beautiful quilting, and a great idea. I was thinking this is just the size project for practice FMQ pieces!

Very clever idea. Sure beats all the bits of paper I have on my desk!

These are great Deb, thanks for the tute too. Love the idea of a pocket. I made some of these for my trip but didn't put the pocket in them. Always looking for a pen!!!
