Default My bucket list

I have always wanted to dye my own fabric. Two weeks ago I took a fantastic class from Jamie Wallen of Quilters Apothecary. Here are most of my fabrics. I'm still waiting for my purples to stop bleeding. Three colors gave me 36 fat quarters.

I truly appreciate the prices charged for hand dyed fabric! It's work!

Beautiful colors! Really love the vibrant red and gold! Is it similar to tye-dying without dipping the fabric in more than one color and the tying? I used to do a lot of that about 35 years ago!

I bought a class on iquilt. This AQS's classroom. The class was by Cindy Lohbeck. She does a fantastic job. I mostly did her technique, and a few techniques from Jamie.

My hands turned purple when I tried this. It put me off having another go. Your colours look fantastic, looking forward to seeing the quilt.

Do you have a pattern in mind for these beautiful colors?
