I'm fairly new to quilting. I took it up about a year ago. I have a friend who's daughter is expecting her first child & the first grandchild for the family. It's a girl. With little time to piece & quilt for the gift I was at Hobby Lobby to pick out the fabrics when I noticed a baby quilt top with butterflies. The nursery is being done in butterflies. I didn't know that I could buy a pre-pieced baby quilt top there or anywhere. With coupon it was only $12! All I had to do was add the bottom, the batting, quilt it & bind it. It was good to get back to quilting as I've been making Bow Tucks bags for a while. It was also great practice for the fmq that I've been trying to learn. Definitely need more practice with that.

Very pretty. I am just learning FMQ and am envious of how nicely you did on this.
