We just had our carpet replaced today which meant we spent the last two days clearing out the three bedrooms and floors of closets! The carpet layers left about noon today and we spent the rest of the day reinstalling 'stuff.' My sewing room was top priority! It is certainly a mish-mash of furniture, but it serves me well. Wish it was a little bigger to accomodate a dedicated cutting space, but I get by. This space also serves as my 'office' space - hence the old desk and filing cabinet. Another closet in another bedroom holds more quilting and craft supplies along with another chest of drawers full of other types of fabric and odds and ends.

This chest of drawers dates to when DH was a baby. It was used for both of our babies as well

That looks so neat!

I always start out with good intentions...but then get detoured to the 'road to hell'...

Oh boy....mine NEVER looks that clean and neat! I have 3 spaces and none of them are that cool looking. I really need to get everything together in ONE place. Thanks for the inspiration.

What a beautiful sewing room! I only dream of having that much room. Now... if you only had a little frig and a bathroom in there... you'd never have to leave! 8-)

thanks for sharing. I love looking at other people's sewing rooms. (Kind of like looking in people's windows at night if the shades aren't drawn. I like to do that too. hehe)

(but not like a peeping tom)

Great room. Did you make your design wall? Looks like it hangs on a curtain rod? Can you tell me more about it?
