This shows my husband's military life. He was in the Army for 33years. When he retired I made this. So you may say this is a quilt 33years in the making. You will find all his ranks, his unit patches, and special patches he got while attached with the army. There is also the Soldiers Prayer on it.

And only Beetle Bailey for the back

What a wonderful thing to have made, like a life history. My son is just beginning on his naval aviation career, and this would be perfect for me to do for him. Thanks so much for posting.

What a glorious tribute to your husband (and yourself) for all those years of service. Thank you both! Do you take it to the Legion or VFW halls for special occassions? I LOVE the backing fabric also! How fitting.

i can see he's an NCO and worked for a living but i'm sending a big
