    Hi. Thought maybe I would try sharing a photo, haven't done this before. I decided to use some of my crazy wild stash and make a scrappy pinwheel quilt. I didn't like it, so then I embroidered all the sashing with beige perle cotton. I just finished quilting it this week, and finished the binding last night. Yes, it is different.

    Yes, the embroidery took me weeks. And I was particular not to match the colors in the blocks, made an acutal effort.

    I LOVE it!!! Scrap quilts are the best. You did a lovely job with the embroidery on the sashing.....that's a great idea. Thanks for sharing. :thumbup:
