    While I have never been a big fan of tied quilts, I will say that this one is definitely enhanced by the tying, expecially in the contrast/like colors. A sewn quilt design simply would not have done it justice. As it is, it is simply gorgeous. I love it and never, ever thought I'd say that about a tied quilt. Might even have to try that myself. Really, really pretty.

    This is an eye catcher and is the only tied quilt that I thought the tying was the best way to go. But this tying adds to the quilt design instead of just holding it together.
