My Dear Jane - Week # 30
#21
Thank you very much, ScrapQuilter!
I could tell you to not repeat my mistakes. I had no prior color design. My fabrics are very few and do not have access to them easily in my country. So I should go determining colors on the fly. That not always ends up in eye-pleasing. And if you follow a design by color, sew the blocks as they arise, not to lose that design.
And the other thing: start the project with a desire to terminate it, make the blocks as you can, don't despair if at any time you can not sew!
A block more done is one less done! And as you go you will have more desire to go ahead! It is a great challenge!
What I learned is much on technique and patience, but also to be tolerant to block are not so "perfect"!
The best advice of Brenda in your rules: "Finished is better than perfect"!
Best wishes!
A hug!
