They say if you can't beat them ...Join them. that is what my DH decided to do since I spend a lot of time in my sewing room. Besides he decided that he had too many 2 1/2 inch blockes cut out for me to ever sew by myself. So.... here he is with his 10th top. And girls.... he still hasn't learned how to fill a bobbin.

Great job! I love it. Christmas should be easy, just buy him some pre-wound bobbins!

I think that's GREAT! Everyone has their quirks. Let him have his bobbin quirk;>

HA-HA-HA!!!!  Basically the same thing happened with us...I was spending hours in the sewing room, he was bored. He decided to give it a try (on a DARE by the way!!) and liked it!!! He has been sewing with me for about 1-1/2 years. We enjoy spending the time together.

One bad thing....when I am in the quilting room alone, I have the TV on. I can listen and follow a program with only occasional glances. Not him...he either watches TV or sews. So, to get anything done, he has to turn off the TV and turn on the music. Sort of annoying to me, but worth it to have him in the room with me!!  8-)

very nice quilt.
get him a bobbin winder.

at least he is smiling over it.

I love the different colors and fabrics in this quilt.

My husband says this one is a quilt.

He doesn't like all those fancy ones.

Your DH looks sew happy with his quilt! Great job on it!
I invited my DH into my sewing room, he came in once & only stayed about 15 min., I guess we don't have the same tastes, but he's still a KEEPER in my eyes!
