I like your dish mat, but what's a dishwasher? LOL

Just like us quilters...when life hands us lemons, we make lemonade!! Or is that when life hands us scraps we make something useful!!!

That is really cute, I would tell him either get it fixed or he will have to do the dishes. My HD does the dishes even with a dishwasher. Cookie64

what a great idea!! I usually wash my pans by hand and lay out towels on the counter. Will definitely make a couple of these.

This is absolutely brilliant! I don't even have a dishwasher (kitchen so small one wouldn't fit in), and I live in a very hard water area so I'm always struggling to deep my metal dish drainer looking decent. I am definitely going to copy your idea and make a couple of these. Thank you so much for sharing...I love it when someone comes up with such a great idea that we can all copy!

Wow - what a great idea! I bought one of those plain ivory dishmats but I'm definitely thinking about making a cover for it or just taking it apart and using it for the inside with a pretty outer cover and re-binding the edges. I would have never thought of that if you hadn't shown your pretty mat. Thanks again for sharing and I hope you get your dishwasher up and running soon.
