I used anywhere from 2" - 3" strips of fabric by anything longer than 12".

I sewed the strips together then ironed fusible fleece on the back side.

I then put them face down facing the fabric I used on the reverse side.

Then stitched leaving a small opening and "birthed" them...

I then used decorative stitches on the seam of each strip..

Super quick and a great way to use up small amounts of fabric

    These measure appx 12" x 18" finished.

oh gosh no.... borrow away:thumbup: I thought they were the neatest thing (especially since I don't like binding).. plus you could make themed ones (cats, dogs, food, holidays) it was so fast and fun. You could even make place mats for the cat food bowls or dog food bowls.

I can't wait to see the ones you make :)

These have already made a trip through the washer and dryer. Fusible fleece (found at Wal-Mart but also available at Hancock Fabrics) makes them just the perfect thickness.
