My estate sale find 2-20-11!

These are couple of the great finds I got this weekend at a local estate sale!
Strangely the lady sewed/quilted, but there was NO fabric!

singer 192K Spartan

I don't which was more exciting...the machine has tension issues right now, but I am working on her!
That box though..wow...a very rare find for around here...and for $5.00 I could not grab it fast enough!

The sewing box is so pretty and looks so handy. Hope you get the issues with machine sorted out soon. However, both were very good finds.

She probably made quilts from old clothes or maybe a family member grabbed all the fabric.

there was some garment fabric, but no good cottons...she had 3 machines though! My kind of woman!

Clean and oil the machine, put Singer lube in the motor if there are grease ports. Change the needle and make sure the flat of the needle is to the right and thread needle left to right.

Maybe she is one of the rare quilters who finished all her projects before it was her time? Wow...that would be rare indeed.
I bet she would be glad that her precious machines are going to be used and loved!
