Default My 'Firemans Quilt' brings $525. at auction..

A local group in my small town called 'Hugs & Kisses' has many affairs to raise money for anyone & everyone who may need help. This auction was to raise money for our local Volunteer Fire Companys.
I made a small 'quilt' or throw! . I used paper piecing for corner Maltese crosses(the firemans cross), then took pics & made 'crayon quilt' blocks from those pics, outlining everything with embroidery stitches...then just worked around that!! I'm very happy that "I" could donate $525...thru my quilt! There was even a write up in our local paper, calling it the "hot" item amoung all the local fire companys!! cute!

WOW! What a fabulous outcome! Your quilt is lovely! Do you know where it will hang?

I love the block borders on the top and bottom, very nice.
