Default My first applique project and my first Christmas stocking - all in one!
I'm so proud of myself, allow me to gloat a bit. Here is my first real applique project and also the first Christmas stocking I've ever made. DH has been making do with a dollar store stocking since we got married four years ago, because I always forgot to go get him a nice one. Next year maybe I'll make myself a stocking too! Pattern was by McCall and I enlarged it quite a bit but it still turned out smaller than I would have liked. The applique is the Jerusalem Cross, he (well both of us really) is a big medieval buff, so I think he'll like it.
