I just finished my first flannel top. I used no pattern for this and it was soooo easy to put together. I will use red flannel for the border and back, and red thread for quilting. I have already started the second one using the same fabric with a slightly different arrangement. These will be going to my greatgrandsons in Ohio.
Thanks to all of you for your feedback about sewing with flannel. It was a lot easier then expected.....

What a wonderful job you have done, with your first flannel quilt top!! :D I really like the pattern that you came up with on your own. I bet it was fun to accomplish. Thank you for sharing.
