Hope you like this scrappy nine patch. It took a long time, as there were so many different scraps to cut. But I was very happy with the result. I think the light gold and brown sort of toned down all the different colours.

Here's a closeup of the top

And a real closeup

This is a scrappy nine patch that used up a whole lot of bits and pieces from my stash. It was the first quilt that I did my own long arm machine quilting on

Actually, I don't own a long arm, but my LQS has a program where you can take a course on how to use it, and then "rent" it for 1/2 a day or a day to do your quilting. Obviously you don't take it home, you do it there in their shop. For one price you have the expertise of the teacher to coach you, or when you are able to do it on your own, you pay a slightly lower price. I've done 3 quilts now, but still would rather have the coach to be there and walk me through it.

I wish I had a local store that would do that!! I think that's a great program. I would love to learn how to use one and play on it a bit before I someday purchase one.

You are one busy woman!!!!! It's gorgeous, and I love the quilting.

One of my LQS's offers the use of their long arm quilter, but I'm such a new quilter that I haven't ventured that far yet!!! But I will!!! I love to try new quilty things, so of course I MUST try it one day!

That's a very pretty quilt. I like the color choices and the quilting is great.

Gorgeous! I'm sure this is the first of many you'll use that long-arm machine for!
