My first attempt at quilting...anything....ever! I hope this comes through. I'm not a computer whiz even for a millisecond. But, this is supposed to be, if it comes through, my hexagon quilt top that I've been working on for 2 years. I thought the light in my bedroom was enough to get a good picture....wrong! But, hey, I tried. It isn't finished but I just wanted to share it with you. I'm kinda proud that I have gotten this far and it hasn't fallen apart, lol. It's hand stitched.

This is the top.

This is the back. Sorry the pictures turned out a little dark. Evidently, I'm not a photographer either, lol..... The paper pieces are stilll in place and so are the basting stitches.

That is gorgeous!

I hand pieced a hexagon table runner, it was quite a job. I can't imagine doing a whole quilt!

In all my years of quilting I don't believe I have ever seen a hexagon sampler. Most interesting and very effective.

It's beautiful!!

And I love how you changed up the color placement to create all the different patterns of "flowers."

It makes the quilt unique and NOT a cookie-cutter copy. Your hard work shows.
