Default My first Baby Quilt

Hi everyone. I saw a lovely free pattern for a full sized quilt from Wilmington Prints , took some elements from it, made the borders bigger and resized it for a babies cot. I appliquéd the butterflies on.
I had a few problems with it alright- the pale batik stretched on me,due to my errors with pressing so I bought a new iron now, and also my very first attempt at feathering which I did on the borders. I drew the feather spines on freehand, and then just winged it lol. I am sure there must be a better way to do this, as it was a bit hit and miss. I am still trying to get my stitches even in length and I know it takes a lot of practice. This will be my fourth quilt so far.
I would be really happy to get any tips from anyone that would help improve the next one.
Anyway the photos are below. Thanks again everyone.

I think you are rather hard on yourself. I also think that quilt is wonderful and the baby is going to feel so happy with it!
