Default My first baby quilt

This is my first baby quilt. I saw one like this on Pinterest and just had to make one for a friend who will be welcoming her first granddaughter in April. I'm quite new to quilting, with a mere 6 months under my belt! However, I find the hobby very relaxing and I enjoy looking at everyone's work, some of which gives me great inspiration. Now I need to try some free-motion quilting so I can do the quilting part myself!
The fabrics I used here are from the Fairy Tale collection by Timeless Treasures.

Very pretty fabric. You did really well for a beginner, just remember quilting is very addicting!

Love this quilt. Baby quilts are so fun to make. In fact, I'm headed to the sewing room right now to bind one.
